I started painting in my 30's and am mostly self taught. I have taken life drawing classes at what is now the Arts Unversity Bournemouth and the Royal Drawing school. I have always loved studying the works of many artists including : Rembrandt, JM Turner, the Fauvists, Euan Uglow, David Hockney and John Hoyland.
The process of painting is an important, and enjoyable thing for me. It is an exploration of nature, colour and form.
