Biography
Simon Ralfe started painting in his 30's having taken life classes at, what is now, the Arts University Bournemouth and the Royal Drawing school. He is inspired by Rembrandt Turner, the Fauvists, Euan Uglow, David Hockney and John Hoyland.
He finds the process of painting a joyful exploration of nature, colour and form.
