Vlasta Jascur

Vlasta Jascur was born in 1953 in Osijek, Croatia. She grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and as she says, it is her happiest period of life where her first interest in art began. In the early days Vlasta was writing poetry, engaged in fashion creation and in local daily newspapers has its own column advice on fashion. Later, through high school days, the interest spread to painting. She has been painting more intensively for the last 12 years. She has exhibited her works in three solo exhibitions in Zagreb, group exhibitions in the country and abroad - International exhibitions: Davao City, Philippines, Women painters, sculptors, Majdanpek, Serbia, in Romania, Hungary and Ukraine, and at many charity exhibitions and in Croatia. Abstract painting is her style, and best suits her strong energy and inspiration, quick strokes of paintbrush who tend to leave a unique mark on the canvas as soon as possible.
