Biography
I am a retired engineer who has been involved in exhibition photography as a hobby for many years. I have always wanted to paint but until retirement I did not have the time. Now, every day is a holiday! - and I enjoy every minute of it.
I am a life member of the Mairangi Arts Centre and the Auckland Watercolour Society. In addition, I am a member of the Marlborough Arts Society and Watercolour New Zealand.
My principal tutors have been Brian Millard of Arrowtown, New Zealand and David Taylor of Melbourne, Australia to whom I owe a great debt.
Watercolour is my chosen medium - a medium that is full of surprises but, I believe, produces the most delightful pictures.
