Marie Bariseel is a contemporary French painter who has been practicing lyrical abstraction since 2013. Guided by spontaneity, her emotions, experience, and imagination, Bariseel's paintings unfold with a harmonious interplay of colors and shapes. Each stroke intertwines with boldness, creating a contrast between shadow, light, and transparency. Her works evoke a sense of fragility, capturing fleeting moments with a touch of chance.
In 2015, Bariseel received the gold medal and public prize at the Soreze Autumn Salon in Tarn. She also participated in a collective exhibition at the Albi Autumn Salon and was instrumental in the creation of the group "Abstraction lyrique contemporain Audois," showcasing her work at the cultural space of the Chai de Capendu in Aude.
The following year, in 2016, Bariseel's art was featured in a collective exhibition at the Colomiers Salon in Haute Garonne and at the Servian Contemporary Art Biennale in Hérault. Through her dynamic and expressive approach to painting, Marie Bariseel continues to captivate audiences and explore the depths of lyrical abstraction.
