This series of wildlife pieces is all about "BIG CATS" after seeing and photographing big cats such as Tigers and Leopards up close whilst on safari's in India 2015, 2016. All of these works are done with charcoal pencils and the paper is indented or embossed to create the fur textures.

Biography
Lynton Bolton, an artist based in the city of Gloucester in the UK, has his roots in the fields of professional photography and graphic design. Merging his talents in these two crafts, Lynton combines his skills to create charcoal drawings of exceptional photographic reality, depicting nature and wildlife with remarkable precision.
His artistic process is based not only on his natural skill and talent, but also on his empathy and emotional connection with his works. Her intricate pieces show an intimate respect for nature, but also an appreciation enriched by a lifetime of travel and photography in distant ecosystems. Through an immersive fusion of art and observation, Lynton Bolton's work represents a visual celebration of the natural world and all the creatures that call it home.
Each work requires approximately 120 to 200 hours of work. He uses Saunders Waterford HP 300gsm paper, measuring 56cm x 76cm for his designs.
