In the vast expanse of this dreamscape, the sun, a silent observer with eyes that see beyond the horizon, casts its warm, golden light over a land where every creature knows its place in the grand design. I find myself amid a surreal jungle, where the palms reach skyward, their fruits heavy with the promise of life. The sky is a canvas of blue, where the sun's gaze meets the earth with an intimacy that only ancient beings understand.

Standing tall in his striped suit of yellow and green, the dog-man grins, tongue hanging out in a carefree expression that mirrors the ease of this timeless moment. His companion, a smaller yet equally regal figure, looks on with a knowing gaze, as if sharing a secret with the surrounding flora. The trees whisper, their leaves rustling in harmony with the distant call of unseen birds, while below, on the winding path by the clear blue pond, other dogs roam—each one part of this eternal dance of nature.

The leopard, perched high on a cliff, watches the scene unfold, its eyes reflecting the stillness of a world where time flows like the gentle breeze. Here, in this secluded sanctuary, the sun sings its silent serenade, and every being, from the smallest insect to the grandest tree, listens in rapt attention.

In this place, where the boundaries between the observer and the observed dissolve, I am but a part of the rhythm that pulses through the jungle, a silent witness to the serenity that only the sun’s eternal presence can bestow.

I am Garfield Pierre Tusset, a digital artist specializing in surrealism, naïve art, and psychedelic art. Born on August 17, 1988, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, my life took a transformative turn at the age of ten when I moved to Paraíba. This culturally rich and diverse region profoundly shaped my artistic perspective.

While I began as a self-taught artist, my formal education solidified my passion and refined my craft. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Fine Arts at the University of São Paulo and later completed a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My work is deeply influenced by the surrealist movement, the simplicity and innocence of naïve art, and the vibrant expressiveness of psychedelic art.

Throughout my career, I have meticulously studied the techniques and styles of the great masters, while continuously exploring my own emotions and experiences. This has led to a distinctive style where anthropomorphic figures blend seamlessly with lush natural settings, creating vibrant, imaginative worlds.

My artwork celebrates innocence and creativity, inviting viewers into a universe of fantasy and beauty. I am always evolving as an artist, seeking new ways to express the magic of surrealism through a naïve and pure lens. My creations are a reflection of my artistic vision, blending craftsmanship, innovation, and deep conceptual exploration.
