In this series, I have combined a number of works on different topics. I am trying to build relationships between objects and the shallow space of the interior, their plastic connections and color interaction. It is interesting how from simple forms, paintings are obtained that are diverse in sound and subject matter.

In April 2017, my friends and I spent unforgettable days in the Dordogne department (southwest France) and stayed in the commune town Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, which claims to be the capital of a primitive society, We saw the originals of cave art in the grottoes of Font de Gome Combarel Rouffignac Cap Blanc Why did Paleolithic people paint? How did the language of visual arts develop, and how did the Paleolithic society perceive what the artists created? Why are rock paintings so modern? These and many other questions I asked myself while working on the topic..

As an artist, for me, the turning to the genre of still life is a search for new forms and technologies in painting. My favorite items are bottles, vases, storage containers... In the fine arts of Western Asia, a well-known distribution has a visual image of a bottle with spirals of smoke emanating from it, symbolizing the liberation of the spirit from the body; this image is closely associated with stories about genies and as such has become firmly established in modern popular culture. In Christian art, the bottle is sometimes used as a symbol of salvation...

African masks are always surrounded by a kind of halo of mystery and mysticism. The appearance and elements of their decor make a European person feel admiration, curiosity and, at the same time, a certain superstitious awe.I am inspired by African masks, their formal perfection, sophistication, combined with phenomenal expressive power. The masks themselves in these compositions are part of my small and favorite collection.

WAWE!
