I am an abstract expressionist practicing artist, London born but now residing in North Devon, UK. I love the great outdoors, the natural world, all it's colours and detail, inspires me work on a daily basis. I have an infinity with colour, it excites me the most!
I love to layer colours, this is why I work primarily with acrylic paint, the drying time is less, so I can later and layer till there's just so much colour on the canvas, you can almost see through it!
Art at school was always my favourite subject, it's something I always did at home, on the kitchen table, sketchbooks filled with colour, mainly bird pictures, but then I realised in order to express myself fully I needed to start pure abstract, much to the amazement of my teachers!
