Who isn’t ready for some laughing gas? Inspired by the U2 song Zoo Station and my 25 years as a dentist.
I wanted a vintage sign look to this painting. An iconic image of Marilyn Monroe sets the tone for this piece. A light scattering of “diamond dust” (glitter like effect) gives a nice shimmer when seen in person.

"For me, painting is a way to express thoughts, feelings, ideas and emotions. With many of my works I try to tell a story thru the piece itself. It may be in the subjects' eyes or the brush strokes or even the colors I use. Many times I use art as a way to highlight a particular person or event in history. I look for the personality within the subject and try and find a way to express it visually. For me, Painting can challenge, frustrate and empower all at the same time. I want emotion and curiosity to play apart when someone views my work.
