Humor, glamour, history and commitment... Yes, this painting brings together everything that touches me. So I chose to highlight the little-known commitment of Queen Elizabeth II as a mechanic during the Second World War. A first for a monarch. This humorous creation, of course, echoes the famous American poster which at the same time encouraged women to participate actively in the military industry. The slogan is also a historical wink, to another leader who marked contemporary history (Barack Obama and his famous "Yes we can"), but here with a little touch of circumstance:) (Yes, she can = yes, she can fix it = repair it ) And like the majority of my creations, neither painting nor drawing, but paper and nothing but colored paper, cut by hand, glued on laminated to give life to this work . The set is firmly assembled and meticulously covered with 6-7 layers of very resistant anti-UV varnish. No need for glass to protect this unique work.

As a child of the 1980s, I was always drawn to art and quickly developed the habit of drawing at every opportunity. Despite a passion for creation, I initially pursued general studies, without neglecting my creativity in art classes. It was as a challenge that I one day decided to explore collage, which I embraced from a lesser-known angle: decoupage and collage.

My academic and then professional obligations forced me to put my passion aside for about ten years, until, in 2016, an artist friend urged me to pick up my scalpel again and start exhibiting. The success of this first exhibition gave me the confidence to continue my work and thus regularly win awards and public recognition. As my artistic experiences progress, my technique is refined and evolves, my complex personality is reflected in works full of subtlety, glamour and humor and references to popular culture as well as pop art.
