Alessandro Padovan, a contemporary Italian artist, embarked on his artistic journey by co-founding the artistic duo Drill Monkeys Art Duo in 2012. Subsequently, he continued to evolve independently from January 2017, marking a distinctive phase in his creative exploration.

This artistic venture led Alessandro to adopt an alternative technique, merging self-tapping screws with acrylic paint on panels. The innovative approach aimed at introducing a three-dimensional quality to his works, skillfully straddling the realms of sculpture and painting. The self-tapping screws, strategically placed at varying depths, create different planes, providing a unique structure through which figures and forms emerge.

Alessandro Padovan's pioneering technique, known as Screw Art, is characterized by its lesser-known status, driving the artist's mission to raise awareness about this unconventional form of art.
