Вообще, после многократного голосования за Ельцина от слова "народ" мне хочется блевать... Что у нас, что на Украине , что в любых других местах "народом" манипулируют как хотят и за весь "народ" выдают его небольшую часть. 100 тысяч на площади - вот и "народ", "воля народа". На выборы иной раз приходят 20-30 процентов - всё, "узнали волю народа". Правят политики, за которых реально голосовали считанные проценты населения. При том, что голосуют и бабы, у которых просто нет и быть не может своего мнения! Все их мнения чужие, у кого-то подхваченные...

In our country, in Ukraine, and in any other places, the “people” are manipulated as they wish and a small part of it is passed off as the whole “people”. 100 thousand in the square - that’s “the people”, “the will of the people”. Sometimes 20-30 percent come to the elections - that’s it, they “found out the will of the people.” Politicians for whom only a few percent of the population actually voted are in power. Despite the fact that women also vote, who simply do not and cannot have their own opinion! All their opinions are strangers, picked up from someone else...
Те "народ", кто побежал от войны или те, кто воюет? "Коммунисты" - народ или "капиталисты" - народ? Слишком уж разные это люди, чтобы считать их одним народом. Как говорится, срать вместе не сядут. (А я ни первое, ни второе, ни третье, ни четвертое - вообще потерялся?!)
Those “the people” who fled the war or those who are fighting? "Communists" - the people or "capitalists" - the people? These people are too different to be considered one people. As they say, they don’t sit together to shit together. (And I’m neither the first, nor the second, nor the third, nor the fourth - completely lost?!)
