It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

William Marcheval : Parcours de vie et artistique
Un parcours riche et éclectique
Né en 1957 à Villeneuve-sur-Lot, William Marcheval a suivi un parcours atypique, mêlant formation académique, expérience professionnelle et passion artistique.
Après l'obtention de son baccalauréat à 17 ans, il s'engage dans l'armée où il acquiert de solides compétences techniques, notamment en ingénierie informatique et en sciences économiques.
À partir des années 80, il entame une carrière dans le monde de l'entreprise, occupant divers postes à responsabilité dans le commerce et la communication. Parallèlement, il développe une expertise dans le domaine du numérique et de l'infographie, fondant sa propre entreprise.
L'appel de l'art
Sa passion pour l'art le conduit à suivre une formation en arts appliqués, puis à étudier le dessin et la peinture à l'École supérieure des beaux-arts de Nîmes. Dès les années 2000, il décide de se consacrer professionnellement à sa pratique artistique.
Un univers artistique singulier
L'œuvre de William Marcheval se caractérise par une recherche constante d'émotion et de mouvement. Ses toiles, souvent inspirées par le monde qui l'entoure, invitent le spectateur à un voyage entre réalité et imaginaire.
Ses influences sont multiples, puisant aussi bien dans l'univers du fantastique et de la fantasy que dans l'œuvre des grands maîtres de la peinture tels que Turner, Caillebotte, Degas, Picasso, Dali, Magritte ou Hopper.
Techniques et inspirations
Marcheval privilégie l'acrylique et la peinture à l'huile, utilisant notamment les techniques du glacis et du sfumato pour créer des effets de profondeur et de mystère. Ses couleurs de prédilection sont les pigments terre, tandis que le bleu et le blanc dominent dans ses aquarelles.
Il explore également le pastel tendre, un médium qu'il apprécie pour sa sensualité.
La quête de l'émotion
Pour William Marcheval, l'art est avant tout un vecteur d'émotions. Il cherche à travers ses créations à susciter l'émerveillement, l'interrogation, l'évasion.
