Tania-B Despite its prevalence as one of the most common fantasies, foot fetishism has often been relegated to the shadows, perceived as a taboo or ‘underground’ paraphilia. Only a handful of artists, such as pioneering photographer Elmer Batters, have dared to portray foot and stocking fetishism in an artistic light. In this art project, my goal is to elevate foot fetish art, taking it from its humble origins to a Pop Art dimension. 

The aim is to reinvent and transform the aesthetic into a modern and stylish idealization of women’s feet, infusing it with elegance and sophistication. In my project, women’s feet and stockings are reimagined and brought to life through a unique drawing style, an innovative artistic perspective, and evocative symbolism. The woman represented in this project embodies the spirit of the 21st century – she is free, unburdened by prejudice, and unapologetically herself. 

But who is Tania-B? 

Tania-B is not only the name of this project but also an imaginary female character who serves as the narrative thread weaving through the artwork. The decision to portray a fictional female character as the author of these works is an intentional choice. My aim is to explore foot fetishism from a female perspective. As a male artist, I am not attempting to define how the female vision of foot fetishism should be. Instead, I am trying to step into the shoes of a woman, channeling this fetish through a lens of feminine sensibility, which, in my opinion, offers an intriguing contrast to the typical male viewpoint.
