Is this truly the world where the familiar laws of time cease to exist? You are the Watcher of Time inside an old clock. But who are you in the space between seconds—a keeper or a prisoner of the mechanism?

I can hear its breath—distorted, erratic, caught in a loop, stripped of its linearity. But has it ever indeed existed? Or is it merely an illusion?

I don’t know what frightens me more—being trapped in the box of the past or attaining eternity.
