Samuel Bartlett is an artist who specializes in painting and digital art. He is based in northeast Florida and has had a successful career spanning over three decades. Samuel's work has been featured in numerous gallery exhibitions and publications across the US and Europe. Even though he grew up on the move, he always had a creative spark within him. After taking classes at Florida School of the Arts, Bartlett began his career with his first solo exhibition just a year later. Apart from his passion for art, Samuel pursued a successful career in Information Technology and earned multiple degrees in history and computer science along the way. Currently, he is attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to earn an MFA in painting. Samuel continues to create new works in his home in Jacksonville, Florida, where he lives with his wife and several cats.

"I incorporate non-traditional materials and found items in my artwork, allowing me to move beyond the boundaries of a canvas and give my pieces a more sculptural quality. My main sources of inspiration are nature and the effects of the passage of time. I believe they provide a unique perspective on the interplay between the natural and the artificial. My art reflects my passion for exploring the complex relationship between human-made objects and the natural world. I place a strong emphasis on sustainability, sourcing materials for my work from my own home and scavenging from my neighborhood. By transforming discarded items into art materials, I aim to challenge society's perceptions of what is valuable."
