Robert Zietara is Polish-born artist with international background, being a resident of Poland, Germany, Greece, Cyprus and Norway. He is a self-taught painter with the right mix of skill and innate talent. Robert’s main technique is oil paintings on canvas.
At the age of 20 he moved to Greece where he established his own art gallery "Robert Art Gallery" in the centre of Nafplio. That was the beginning of his artistic adventure.
His art works are very technically advanced and at the same time have an overwhelming atmosphere of mystery, illusion and slight anxiety. His constant search for something indefinite, which often goes far beyond the limits of the human mind is present in many of this works. His creations are full of symbols and thought-provoking details shown in the background of surreal landscapes.
Many of the artist’s works have been selected for various publication in the United States, such as music album’s cover, book’s cover, illustration for magazines and poems. The artist's work got noticed by the IX Arts Association, the world's leading organization dedicated to the contemporary imaginative realism.
At first Robert created photo-realistic painting, but over the time he developed a real passion for imaginative realism and surrealism art, which is now the main focus of his work.
