Finition brilliante
Outre son épaisseur exceptionnelle, le papier fibre est composé d'une base d'alpha-cellulose sans acide et il est recouvert de sulfate de baryum, et d'une couche microporeuse améliorant l'absorption des pigments lors de l'impression. Arborant une couleur blanc pur, ne jaunissant pas à la lumière, ce papier est spécialement conçu pour être durable dans le temps. Il est utilisé par les principaux musées du monde entier car il offre une excellente résolution et un rendu de couleurs profondes et denses.

Raphael Perez, également connu sous le nom hébreu Rafi Peretz, est né dans une famille traditionnelle et a grandi à Jérusalem. Son père, Shimon Perez, travaillait comme réceptionniste à l'hôpital Hadassah Ein Kerem à Jérusalem, tandis que sa mère, Alice Aliza Perez, travaillait comme assistante dans une garderie et s'occupait ensuite d'un bébé à la maison. Raphael a plusieurs frères et sœurs, chacun poursuivant des chemins différents dans la vie, allant de l'éducation à la spiritualité en passant par les voyages.
Après avoir servi dans le Corps d'artillerie de l'armée israélienne, Raphael a consacré 15 ans à l'éducation dans des milieux thérapeutiques pour enfants, enseignant l'art et le mouvement. Il est diplômé du Centre des arts visuels de Be'er Sheva, où il a étudié de 1989 à 1992. Depuis 1999, il vit de la vente de ses œuvres d'art et travaille dans son studio à Tel Aviv depuis 1995.
Au fil des ans, Raphael a exploré diverses thématiques dans son art, notamment les relations interpersonnelles. Ses premiers travaux portaient sur les relations hommes-femmes, avant qu'il n'assume ouvertement son homosexualité à l'âge de 32 ans. Depuis lors, il a créé des peintures idéalistes représentant des relations homosexuelles dans un environnement domestique, dépeignant des scènes de la vie quotidienne avec tendresse et affection.
En plus de son travail artistique, Raphael a également tenu des journaux intimes pendant de nombreuses années, documentant ses pensées, ses expériences et ses luttes personnelles. Ces journaux ont été exposés lors d'expositions solo et de groupe, offrant un aperçu profond de son cheminement personnel et artistique.
