Queeny Van Der Zande

Queeny van der Zande is a creative artist working with multiple creative mediums, such as photography, painting and poetry. 

During her career as a model she picked up the camera herself and started with a Polaroid land-camera. Her love for photography quickly grew and so she was experimenting with different mediums, Medium format film, 35mm and digital.

When Queeny became a certified diver, her photography took another turn, into the magical world of the Ocean. 

Queeny has a deep love and passion for animals, nature and the ocean. When not diving or painting, you will find her either on the beaches cleaning the rubbish and plastic or rescuing/ fostering another rescue animal. 

Always inspired by nature and animals. Queeny has a love for reading and writing poetry and other works. She has recently published her first poetry book named Shadowy.
