Davo
Peter was born in Chesterfield in the UK just after the end of WWII and studied art at school until leaving to join the British Army. During his time in the army he had a lengthy hiatus and painted nothing. On leaving the army after 13 years, he went on to become a Health and Safety professional for one of the larger mobile phone companies. He only took up his paints again in the late 90's, painting various subjects for friends and family. Always a passionate F1 and MotoGP fan, he began painting both subjects for his own pleasure but soon discovered that these paintings were very popular with others and rapidly gained both a reputation and customer base for these paintings. In 2005, Peter took early retirement and moved to Turkey (where he now resides) in order to take up his other great passion of scuba diving. One of his first actions on buying his home in Turkey was to convert a large room into a studio, where he now spends the winter months painting. He has held a few successful exhibitions of his artwork in Turkey.

Philosophy
Whilst Peter is happy to sell his paintings, he admits that selling them is secondary to painting them for his own pleasure. His interests, for subjects to paint are very eclectic and it only needs a topic that interests him to start him on the road of painting it (he describes it as a butterfly mentality). He works predominantly in acrylics as he finds the medium to be very versatile and easy to work with.
