For me, life is a lot of bright and not so bright flashes, images, colours, impressions. I can look at a pattern on the floor and see a fairy tale character, make up a story for it, relive it, all in the time it takes to do the dishes. I work as an accountant and it's a job that requires care and precision, the world around me is full of problems and not always bright and beautiful. Painting allows you to add colour to reality. To open the door to a bright, lush world of colour and magic. It's a bright and finishing touch that makes my world brighter and more perfect. I paint in my spare time, it's a hobby I've only recently discovered. And now I don't understand how I ever lived without painting :)
