John Nadon

John Nadon, artist - Born 1952 in Tuscon, Arizona.

Graduate of theater scenic, costume and lighting design, followed by resident design and technical direction as well as instruction at colleges. Gradually added architectural work, and today is a known professional in lighting design and lighting product design and development.

Paid for college selling paintings on the street. Paid for a move from the west coast to New York City by also selling paintings on the street. With success in lighting manufacturing with industry leaders, painting became a hobby from 1988 to 2002. In 2002, after co-starting a successful graphics design company, design by design LLC, and an investment group with limited partnerships in film production, Navy Blue Inc., a new idea of getting back to art and supporting young artists internationally was developed. Art Now - Modern Art Investing was started in 2002 and a new on-line gallery, , was created to invest in young artists and support their develoment with profits from sales used to buy new artwork around the world. While doing this the owner/ artists' own paintings were sold on various internet sites and in galleries. Today the artist John Nadon continues to paint in a wide variety of styles, knowing that in his design work he always works to meet the clients' needs and wants, while in his artwork he only works to make a statement true to his beliefs, feelings and thoughts. Their value is in this adherence to truth, with no attempt to modify even a stroke to please someone for sales. Nothing means more to him than when someone finds a work of his, and in it finding something meaningful and moving.
