Biography

Mushtaq Noor opened his eye in a small agriculturist family of Punjab province of
Pakistan. He was only three when his father died. Under very crucial circumstances,
howevere, he strived and succeeded in achieving his Engineering degree with Distinctions.

He preferred settingup his own business instead of Public Service. He was very successful
in his business related endeavors. As of a business venture, during 90s, he firstly
shifted his business to Tashkant and then to Central Russia in quest of still better
outcomes......! Butt misfortunes come uninvited.......he was rendered penniless due to
Bank-ruptcy at The Income Bank of Russia where he was maintaining all his business
accounts. He can not forget the day of 13th September 1997, when starving for over three
days, dejected a lot, when for a while, he went drowsy, someone asked him; Why not start
poetry and painting (what he never did or thought in life) to kill time?

His art is nothing but ravings presented as visualized. The topic of the art is Heart &
Soul. He never attended any school of art. It was only at the 57th year of his life that
his innate power, expression through brush, developed on deep study of philosophy of Khudi
(high-born creation of man) by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal (1877-1938), Poet of The East. His
drowsing led him to many forms of matter undergoing alchemy through life, as the soul
does, that could be utilized as allegoristic instances to place the results of such
occurrences on canvas, for easy leap of minds to reach closest to the meanings thus
expressed visually.

He says, "All praise and graciousness goes God Almighty who sends each soul labeling a
unique level of intellect, blessing it with certain attributes and virtues, to play the
role (assigned) through its life in this world. He Himself unveils these attributes at a
stage He deems fit, purely as a pre-set/hidden agenda." He is of the firm belief that
there is no wonder, skill or role, whatsoever, at the hands of the Artist to be praised.

By no stretch of imagination or linguistic expression, whatsoever, one can conceive or make others conceive of the things and/or situations in the eternal world. Describing the occurrences and ravings, when he is drowned in extreme love, one may intend to comment on the Truth closely yet he speaks in his own words as he can't speak in God's words i.e. conveying such feelings one has to rely on metaphor to make the message easily understandable for the people.

In other words explaining Reality, he speaks allegoristic, borrowing words like darkness of nights for hair, ember for cheek of the beloved etc. Actually the liking of the beloved becomes his faith, free of all lively bindings even religion, as he utters "none" but Reality (as if) being faced to Reality. Furthermore, what he comments upon are the attributes of the beloved and not the person of the beloved.

As this address can't be God's words, total reliance is to be made on the instances, similes and allegories from this world of goods and chattels for easy reach of minds. The allegories of Drop, wave and Mirror etc. are used, here in these presents, as instances for soul while River, Ocean, Mercury, Almond Marrow, Grapes or even Light to stand for attributes of the Absolute Soul. These examples are just to make the friends understand, for good, otherwise the allegories, things or instances of this mortal world have no betrothal to the things or situations of the eternal world (seen by none with the wisdom-eyes). Thus presenting these examples is not to be termed polytheism or paganism, any way.

Nagating polytheism further, the relation of the soul with the Absolute Soul is not that of a piece of land to a big area or a room to a huge building etc. It can only be taken, to conceive, that the soul is instinctively blessed with, by way of reflection, a certain level of attributes which are a trait of character of the Absolute Soul itself.

The Artist also believes firmly that God loves His people, irrespective of religion, belief or creed. No doubt faith plays a vital role, in one's life, in having access to the Truth. It's the true faith only that enlightens the path, making the finder avail short cuts to achieve the goal, contrarily wrong faith may cause one to drown in cursed darks and be differed as doomed, never finding a path to the Truth--The Destiny.

The crucial factor is that one should strive and move to have a step towards Him. Then according to our faith He says you take one step towards me, I will have two steps towards you and if you walk towards me I will gallop towards you. This is the way one falls to His liking. Condition being that one should move in mythic quest to recognize Him, the very purpose of creation of man (the most eminent of created-beings).

Though it's not very pertinent to the topic hereto, yet I feel, I should add a few words on how to take a step towards Him. It is not at all leaving your daily life nor you have to go anywhere to reach Him. It is in fact leaving the world living in the world. As the saying goes keeping two swords in one sheath is impossible, The Creator and creature can't remain together i.e. if you really have a claim over loving Him you have to forget all except Him. It's funny enough to note, however, gathering two opposites is impossible but leaving the world living in the world is in "possibles"
