Michel Daumergue is a professional photographer who also teaches art. It thus establishes a link between personal expression and professional practice.
He does not favor any particular photographic genre. For example, the city offers many photographic opportunities in various fields: the architectures and their geometric lines, the colors, the animation of the streets, the walls, the characters encountered. Photography transforms the real world into a two-dimensional object by extracting its colors, values, materials and lines. This singular object allows the transformation of this reality, even in its most banal manifestations. He pursues other, more plastic approaches, which allow him to broaden his research and be more in touch with his pictorial practice.
Michel Daumergue is a French photographer who has had a passion for photography since childhood. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Aix/Marseille and pursued a career as a visual arts teacher. He has exhibited in several cities in France, including Strasbourg, Cahors, Salaise-sur-Sanne and Avignon. Several of his photographs have been awarded, including the Nikon/Fisheye Magazine Award in 2018, the PhotoMenton Award in 2019, etc. Others have appeared in online publications such as Corridor Elephant and Edge of Humanity Magazine.
