My work as a painter and draughtsman comprises all kinds of themes: still life, children, landscapes, ballet dancers, every day life, portraits, etc, where I use different techniques like watercolour, oil painting, graphite and charcoal.
The emotional states I perceive from these themes are represented in my work in a figurative style, the emotions playing with the brush or charcoal strokes in a fresh and spontaneous manner. Among other features of my work I put great emphasis in the luminosity of my paintings and drawings.
The driver of my creative process is a deep interest to capture the spontaneity and volatility of the moment, not from the precise technical representation of an instant but to capture the essence of such moment.
