About the Founders

Maurimosaic was founded by Mauricio Aybar, a specialist in art mosaic who bases his work on life experiences and designs inspired from Spain, Italy, Greece, and Turkey and Andrea Castiglione, a commercial business controller with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial analysis; budgets and forecasts; receivable management; change management projects.  With their love of art and commercial projects, together they work to make their customers happy by delivering the best of designs and constantly adding value to their products that are inspired by their creative, innovative, effective and positive character.

Recent Projects

On the weekend we were proud to be involved in the design of pool tiling for the new Pimpama Sports Hub as featured in the Gold Coast Bulletin. In past we were also involved in the unique commercial restoration of Palazzo Versace project, Emerald Lakes and the Candy Shop Mansion project. We are known for our unique hand-made products.

Business History

As Spanish immigrants who landed in Australia in 2014, we integrated successfully into the Gold Coast and building industry and made it our love to share with locals our background in mosaic art. We wanted to alleviate the common building industry problem of trying to get something high quality, creative and unique in design and having to wait a long time for shape, quantity, colour and design, without the excessive cost. We have now left our mark in Australia.

Our Products

At Maurimosaic we offer custom mosaic tiles, custom splashbacks (stained glass, mirror, ceramic), mosaic wall art, mosaic murals and design. All of our products are made to order and can be ordered online or in-person with booking. We also have exported to the USA, UK  and SOUTH AMERICA many times since we created the company in Australia in 2015. We provide handmade products which are delivered in less than 15 business days, made in Australia and offer a lifetime warranty. Our goal is to redecorate the Gold Coast building industry with the Maurimosaic way.
