Máscara inspirada en la tribu Mursi de Etiopía.
Para ritos y ceremonias, las mujeres adornan sus cabezas con decoraciones florales, naturales y extravagantes. Las dilataciones en las orejas representan una forma de identidad cultural, que unido a las decoraciones florales es una auto expresión de belleza y creatividad.
Las flores de la escultura son preservadas, pueden quitarse, ponerse y cambiarse cuando se desee.

Licenciada en Diseño Artesanal por la “Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado” de El Salvador en el año 1998. Su carrera artística y profesional comienza teniendo contacto con comunidades indígenas y rurales en El Salvador y Guatemala, brindando asesorías en diseño artesanal en las áreas textiles, con el fin de impulsar el desarrollo local, sostenible, artístico y cultural de la artesanía.
Esta colección de máscaras escultóricas están inspiradas en las culturas de las tribus africanas de Etiopía. El proyecto nace desde la admiración hacia la belleza del imaginario visual de estas tribus, buscando poner en valor la diversidad y riqueza antropológica de los seres humanos.
Mi práctica artística surge a raíz de mi pasión por la antropología étnica y las culturas del mundo. Encuentro inspiración en las ricas y diversas tradiciones de diferentes razas; sus costumbres, leyendas y ritos; mi objetivo es dar vida a sus historias a través de mis máscaras escultóricas. Mi medio elegido para materializar mi arte es el papel maché, que combinado con elementos naturales y mixtos, me permite crear máscaras detalladas que son a la vez expresivas y reflexivas para el espectador.
Cada una de mis piezas es un tributo al patrimonio cultural que representa; historias, leyendas, mitología y diversidad cultural. Me esfuerzo por asegurar que cada detalle sea respetuoso y preciso. A través de mi trabajo, espero fomentar una comprensión y un aprecio más profundo por la belleza y la complejidad de las diferentes culturas y alentar a los espectadores a explorar y celebrar la diversidad humana que compartimos.
