Laura Ruffinelli

My work is the result of a chromatic experimentation laboratory, through which I research and share my different emotional states.

Through painting, and through brushstrokes and colors, I try to externalize the 'mechanics' of my thoughts.

It is an abstract book where continuously, and perhaps compulsively, the chromatic compositions alternate between a succession of more rhythmic and graphic moments, with others that are more subdued and purely pictorial.

Laura Ruffinelli is an Italian restorer and conservator of works of art, with a passion for color. She has been painting since she was a child and has participated in several exhibitions. For more than a decade she has been living and working in Lisbon, Portugal.
