Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Kurt Saghi is an Austrian painter and photographer living and working in Salzburg, where he was born in 1952. Fascinated by the diversity of landscapes and cultures, he travels the world, capturing moments of life and details that tell the richness of the places he visits. Through his lens, he immortalizes the emblematic cars of Cuba, scenes of daily life and unique landscapes that inspire him with a poetic vision of the world.
His photographic work, focused on the unique atmospheres of the countries he explores, offers a visual immersion in varied universes, from the colorful warmth of Cuban streets to the distant horizons of European lands. Each image reveals a particular sensitivity to details and light, which transforms the everyday into a timeless moment.
In parallel, Kurt Saghi devotes himself to painting, where he explores landscapes and elements of nature with an approach that is both realistic and contemplative. His paintings, inspired by his travels, highlight the beauty of natural details, whether it is the texture of a tree, the softness of a sky or the changing light on a lake.
Kurt Saghi thus creates a deep link between his two artistic practices, where photography and painting dialogue to capture the diversity of the world and the strength of the emotions it inspires. Through his works, he invites the viewer to travel, to discover the beauty hidden in the details and to marvel at the richness of our planet.
