Esta obra reflexiona sobre el momento captado en una imagen que tiene una existencia perdurable. Nuestra visión interior transformada en una permanencia pictórica.
Haciendo un guiño al Ukiyo-e del mismo título de Hokusai "A sudden gust of wind".
La captación de lo efímero ha correspondido desde tiempo inmemorial al Arte. Lo efímero de un pensamiento, de un acontecimiento, de una visión furtiva. Así se forma nuestra memoria personal, histórica, nuestra Cultura como sociedad, nuestro patrimonio. No existiríamos como seres humanos sin el Arte de hacer de lo efímero algo perdurable que se pertpetúa para ser compartido y transmitido por todos los nosotros. Esta obra ha sido galardonada con una Mención de Honor en el Premio Bienal de Pintura do Eixo Atlántico. Con una Exposición itinerante Por Museos de Portugal y Galicia como Braga, Barcelos, Viana do Castelo, Ourense, Monforte de Lemos, Riveira.
