Marco Brown

Although born and raised in the United Kingdom , Marco left for the continent soon after graduation and found himself in Paris where he worked as a language teacher and interpreter for nine wa during his stay in France that he began expressing himself on canvas more affirmatively and knew that that was what he would want to be doing in the future.After a nine year stay he thought that the time was right to leave the big city and his job so as to discover and explore his Mediterranean roots and take the plunge into full time painting.

Marco has already enjoyed the success of several exhibitions in various locations and this year will be focusing on exhibitions in Malta , France , Scotland and Israel.

Marco is greatly influenced and inspired by the wealth and diversity of all the tones and shades of the Mediterranean and further to this he is greatly interested in all of the myths and legends of the whole Mediterranean basin.In his opinion , the appreciation and understanding of any form of abstract art is very personal , non pretentious and doesnt have to be intellectual meaning that it should be accessible to all and hopefully incite reaction and provoke thoughtfrom within.
