Hello! I began sketching and doodling with a pencil on notebook paper when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I found that I enjoyed the process of rendering... to translate accurately what I could see onto the paper, to measure and capture proportion, light and shadow. I had a knack for it early on, and just kept at it improving my skills. I have grown to love rendering Wildlife and the occasional Portrait. I have worked with Pencils, colored pencils, Charcoal, Oil paint, Acrylic paint. I most enjoy using mixed media, Acrylic airbrushed for the undertones... and then bringing details into the foreground with Pencils. I hope you enjoy my work... and please feel free to leave feedback. I struggle a bit to find my one direction as an artist. I wander in different directions, different media. I think what I need is feedback and guidance on what my best strengths are. Thank you again for checking out my work. Stay tuned for more. :) Jeff Brooks
