Jean-Jacques Boisseau is a passionate self-taught photographer. After a difficult transition from silver magic to all-digital, he now has time to satisfy his quest for images. His ambition: to capture moments, looks, details, nooks, assemblages... In black and white or in color, it depends... Question of mood, atmosphere, light... Show this that the eyes do not see, that the magazines do not immortalize...
An instinctive and instant photographer, he trusts his eye and his spontaneity more than optical techniques that he has little mastery of. He only exceptionally calls for retouching except to improve a framing, accentuate the contrast or bring light... There is no question of transfiguring the teamwork carried out by his eye and his lens.
His preferences are portraits, street art and small details which, when highlighted, acquire artistic value in his eyes.
Jean-Jacques Boisseau was born in 1958. He lives and works in France. His work is present in many private collections.
