Jaime Carbó Marchesini (JCM - CARBO) is a Mexican visual artist who currently lives and works in the region of Baja California, Mexico. Lately he has been dedicated to transforming the coastal town of Rosarito where he lives with colorful murals in public and private locations, he considers Art to be a great way to achieve a higher and happier existence to those who come in contact with it, so artists should always try to improve their surroundings with their work in order to make life a little better for those who inhabit such space.

In 2012 he created a large marble Mother Goddess sculpture for the XIII International Sculpture Symposium in Changchun, China, named “Chihuacoatl” after the Aztec Goddess. In 2014 he created the image for the San Diego Latino Film Festival after an international call to artists. from 2015 to 2017, along with his crew, Carbo was in charge of creating all the painting and sculpting for the AMC series Fear The Walking Dead, as previously done for other productions at the Baja Film Studios, designed by James Cameron for his movie Titanic. He recently participated with a digital Mural in the 2018 Borderless Wine Symposium in NYC and was interviewed for Art & Museum magazine in the United Kingdom, published in Fall 2018.

He recently painted a mural at the Eirini (Peace) Train station in Athens Greece in October 2018 for the Mexico-Greece Youth encounter, as well as the first legally painted tram in Athens in collaboration with Mexican and Greek Street Artists. His style mixes up ancient and modernist elements; like ancient Folk Shamanic meets modern Street Pop in a border hopping bridge between different countries. The work is always bright with popping colors and evoking a happy high vibration to be transmitted to the viewer, as his mission with his painting is to create a pleasant experience to the viewer which will hopefully make him smile and forget any troubles he or she may have, if only for one moment.
