Irina Zagibalova

Hello, my name is Irina. I am originally from Siberia, Russia. Since early childhood, I have been fascinated by drawing, music and decorative and applied arts. Having a musical education in piano at a local music school, I continued to draw and  studied techniques and forms independently. I like to observe the movement of life, situations that happen in the moment, natural phenomena and animals. Thanks to this, new stories are born in my head. And music gives me a powerful mental push, it stimulates and energetically tunes the strings of my soul to the right mood for creativity.

In parallel with drawing, I studied stained glass art on my own. This knowledge expanded my capabilities. I create small stained glass panels using colored relief glass and press-dried flowers and herbs, hand-picked in our area. The resulting compositions are airy, filled with peace, life and a sense of nature in general. Nature is my main muse. It combines the harmony of colors of the environment, a variety of textures and shapes.

Thanks to creativity, I discover new worlds, new ways of self-expression. I cannot and do not want to stop on this inspiring path.
