Whilst studying Art and Design in the beautiful city of York my specialism was in Graphic Design. Post Graduation I utilised the skills gained to forge a successful career as an Illustrator / Graphic Designer. Working within a variety of companies gave me valuable commercial experience as an artist.
In recent years I have been able to focus on my painting. Commissioned work has reignited my passion and commitment in this field. My preference for materials is is mixed media and acrylic as my latest pieces demonstrate. I relish the opportunity to explore mixed media in my work working with gouache, watercolour, pastels and acrylic. Exhibiting my work in several exhibitions and curator picks in several high profile online galleries has given me a platform, confidence and opportunity to reach more people with my pieces and explore different media and stimulus.
Allowing me to produce work which encapsulates my passion, experience and memories, sometimes elevating the ordinary as much as the extraordinary. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I delight in creating it.

I've recently been trying new techniques and experimenting with different media.
Working with the iconic chanel bottle I tried photorealism using gold leaf which was a little tricky to apply at times.
I'm very happy with the results and found the whole process very therapeutic.
