History:
The interest in drawing and in the Arts in general, creating the first pencil sketches, for Aurelio Villanova begins during the Second World War, while he is employed in the municipality of Pieve di Soligo as a placer and Technical secretary of the Arts.
At the end of the war he settled in Milan where he met the painter and friend Maestro Giacomo Gabbiani at the Accademia Libera Gabbiani; here begins his true artistic passion.
Subsequently Villanova has two significant meetings for his training: the first with the Painter Gino Moro Maestro at the Brera Academy in Milan where he will attend the school of painting and sculpture, the second with his friend and colleague Maestro Fedeli Francesco owner of the chair of painting and composition at the Scuola Superiore d'Arte del Castello in Milan where he will study anatomy, then the great ascent begins...
