In this sun-drenched sanctuary, where the jungle meets the sea, I find myself among the Guardians of the Golden Coast. The sun, wearing a pair of sunglasses that mirror its ever-present warmth, watches over the scene, a radiant beacon in a sky of blue. Its light spills over the landscape, casting long shadows and painting the world in hues of green and gold.

To my side stands a figure of poise and elegance—a dog in a sharp tan suit, his eyes hidden behind dark shades, a playful tongue lolling out. Around him, the jungle is alive with life. Birds of curious forms perch amidst the leaves, while small creatures scuttle through the underbrush. The trees stretch upwards, their branches framing the sky, as if reaching for the sun's eternal embrace.

On the sand, a beach umbrella stands guard over a solitary lounge chair, an invitation to rest and bask in the tranquility of this idyllic setting. Dogs of various shapes and colors move freely, their presence a testament to the harmony of this place, where nature and culture coalesce in a dance as old as time.

Here, in this surreal landscape, I am but a visitor, a part of the endless cycle of life that flows through the jungle and the sea. Under the watchful gaze of the sun, the Guardians of the Golden Coast keep their silent vigil, ensuring that the balance of this dreamlike realm remains undisturbed.

I am Garfield Pierre Tusset, a digital artist specializing in surrealism, naïve art, and psychedelic art. Born on August 17, 1988, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, my life took a transformative turn at the age of ten when I moved to Paraíba. This culturally rich and diverse region profoundly shaped my artistic perspective.

While I began as a self-taught artist, my formal education solidified my passion and refined my craft. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Fine Arts at the University of São Paulo and later completed a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My work is deeply influenced by the surrealist movement, the simplicity and innocence of naïve art, and the vibrant expressiveness of psychedelic art.

Throughout my career, I have meticulously studied the techniques and styles of the great masters, while continuously exploring my own emotions and experiences. This has led to a distinctive style where anthropomorphic figures blend seamlessly with lush natural settings, creating vibrant, imaginative worlds.

My artwork celebrates innocence and creativity, inviting viewers into a universe of fantasy and beauty. I am always evolving as an artist, seeking new ways to express the magic of surrealism through a naïve and pure lens. My creations are a reflection of my artistic vision, blending craftsmanship, innovation, and deep conceptual exploration.
