In a realm where the past and present converge, I find myself surrounded by the Faces of the Forgotten Jungle. The sun, a radiant overseer, smiles down upon the scene, its beams illuminating a world where the hidden and the revealed are one. The jungle, dense and lush, is alive with the watchful eyes of spirits and creatures alike.

Amidst the verdant foliage, two figures emerge—human in attire but with faces that speak of ancient connections to the wild. One holds a briefcase, a symbol of journeys undertaken and secrets carried, while the other stands beside a loyal companion, a dog whose features mirror the man's, reflecting a bond that transcends time. Together, they stand as guardians of this enigmatic realm, their expressions a blend of curiosity and wisdom.

Nearby, faces appear among the leaves, silent witnesses to the unfolding scene. A red car, an anachronistic element, hints at stories untold, while dogs play by the shore, their movements a graceful dance against the backdrop of the endless sea.

I am Garfield Pierre Tusset, a digital artist specializing in surrealism, naïve art, and psychedelic art. Born on August 17, 1988, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, my life took a transformative turn at the age of ten when I moved to Paraíba. This culturally rich and diverse region profoundly shaped my artistic perspective.

While I began as a self-taught artist, my formal education solidified my passion and refined my craft. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Fine Arts at the University of São Paulo and later completed a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My work is deeply influenced by the surrealist movement, the simplicity and innocence of naïve art, and the vibrant expressiveness of psychedelic art.

Throughout my career, I have meticulously studied the techniques and styles of the great masters, while continuously exploring my own emotions and experiences. This has led to a distinctive style where anthropomorphic figures blend seamlessly with lush natural settings, creating vibrant, imaginative worlds.

My artwork celebrates innocence and creativity, inviting viewers into a universe of fantasy and beauty. I am always evolving as an artist, seeking new ways to express the magic of surrealism through a naïve and pure lens. My creations are a reflection of my artistic vision, blending craftsmanship, innovation, and deep conceptual exploration.
