Un bel insecte vert imaginaire sur fond bleu. L'idée du tableau est une libellule devant un ciel d'été bleu pur. Les couleurs sont le bleu, le vert, des petites touches discrètes et fondues de jaune et d'ocre. La peinture est faite avec de fines couches d'huile, peinte sur MDF passé au gesso blanc.
Dans cette technique de peinture, je travaille en retraits de couleurs, laissant apparaître le blanc. Encore une fois, j'ai exploité la paréidoli, laissant les formes et les formes apparaitre abstraitement, pour ensuite, en travaillant sur les formes, révéler l'idée d'un sujet reconnaissable.
J'adore la complexité des formes naturelles, les hasards des formes apparues, la richesse de toutes les formes et couleurs. La nature est fascinante pour un peintre, même quand c'est une nature imaginaire.
Il est temps d'apprécier la beauté et la poésie, avec cette belle libellule accrochée sur une tige, avec des feuillages.
L'œuvre est peinte sur un panneau de MDF. Les bords sont peints en bleu. L'œuvre est prête à être accrochée.
