La toile est enduite avec un apprêt spécial pour aquarelle. Cette oeuvre est toute en transparence, l'aquarelle est prédominante. Les blancs sont ceux de la toile apprêtée.
Les couleurs principales sont : noir, rose, vert-jaune, vert olive, orangé, verts, gris, avec des touches de bleu.
