Cette peinture est faite dans un style gestuel, moderne et spontané, en utilisant de fines couches d'acrylique. La peinture est un prétexte pour jouer avec le langage pictural : couleurs, formes, graphiques, transparences et opacités.
Ici, la figure du corps est stylisée, semi-abstraite, peinte dans des couleurs transparentes chaudes telles que jaune, orange, brun ou rougeâtre, sur un fond gris chaud avec des tons différents.
Certaines parties de l'œuvre sont réhaussées avec des pastels à la cire. Sur certaines parties, le pastel à la cire définit les formes, discrètement mais dans une couleur contrastée (bleue ou turquoise) vibrant avec les couleurs chaudes.
Le mont de Vénus est stylisé, rendus avec un beau pastel à la cire turquoise, contrastant sur la chair des cuisses dans des couleurs chaudes.
Je n'ai pas représenté délibérément la tête de ce nu. J'étais uniquement intéressée par la forme générale du corps, avec des courbes comme un bateau, ou comme les bancs de sable sur la Loire, où je vis. Ces bancs de sable avec leurs formes douces et langoureuses, éminemment courbes ont été merveilleusement représentées Max Ernst au XXe siècle. Ce nu peut aussi être un hommage à Modigliani...
En fait, le corps de cette femme m'est apparu en pareidolie pendant que je peignais un fond pour une nouvelle peinture. J'ai souligné les caractéristiques et les formes pour vraiment faire apparaître ce corps.
Le tableau sera livré signé au recto et à l'arrière, avec une facture et un certificat d'authenticité signé.
L'oeuvre n'est pas tendue sur un châssis. Elle sera envoyée dans un tube, soigneusement emballée, avec numéro de suivi.
