Biography
Why do I love to paint watercolour? I find it so exciting because you can use a lot of different techniques. How you get the colour drain on the paper and also how different colours blend together in a way that you not can rule over yourselves makes the pictures not so exact and more live. I often like to use bright colours in my paintings. I will be inspired by anything as I find exciting to paint especially what stands out in colour or shape both from the nature and from people that I meet.
I am an international artist who have had exhibitions in many different countries.

Watercolor is one of the oldest painting techniques that have become modern again. A rich variety of approaches are promised and much inspiration can be found. Edsvik Art organizes again a juried watercolor salon. The exhibition is open to artists from Sweden and Denmark. I will be represented here.

KONSTRINGEN (Art festival)

The last weekend in September will Mälaröarnas Konstring have an art show in the islands of culture Mälaröarna.
In connection to the event "Mälaröarnas Konstring” 2014, there will be an exhibition where the artists/members in the community "Mälaröarnas Konstring" will open up their galleries or studios and show their art. 42 artists will show their art. In connection to this, there will also be a common exhibition at the castle of Ekebyhov. The exhibition will be open three days, Friday to Sunday, between 11 and 17.

BRIEFLY ABOUT EWA
- I mainly paint with watercolour and also with acrylic on canvas.
- Mainly figurative motifs
- Have been painting for about 10 years
- Exhibitions in IREV Stockhom, the Castle of Ekebyhof Ekerö and Opus Gallerie in Malta.
- Have been living in Hamburg and Berlin for some years where I got my first education.
- Since 2005 I have lived in Malta where I have been painting with different professionel artists.
- Arranged Carpe Diem Art Show, a charity exhibition in Valletta 2012 for members in the Swedish Club where 15 artists was exhibited.
- Education - a number of courses and classes in Hambrug, Berlin, Stockholm and Malta.

CARPE DIEM ART - An art Exhibition in Malta, 19th April 2012 for Charity
The 19th of April, in the Chamber of Commerce, in Valletta, an exhibition with 14 artists, all members in the Swedish Club in Malta, will open up. Around 50 pieces of art will be for sale and all the income from sold art, will be donated to the Puttinu Cares Foundation in Malta. Puttinu Cares do help families with a children with cancer.
