About the author
It was while participating in a wood sculpture course at the age of 27 that I had this passion which has never left me since. This has been the case for 45 years and the more I participate in exhibitions, craft markets but never very far from home I draw my inspiration from peasant life with funny, smiling, facetious or sometimes mocking characters. Native Americans are also my representations because I I really like these people.
I also trained in working with clay, plaster, extruded polystyrene, cellular concrete. I learned the plaster mold in pieces to make several of the same sculptures, for the casting of porcelain. All this was self-taught by reading specialized anatomy works etc
I never went to art school. My training was entirely self-taught.
