DIDIER FRANCO
Painter and draftsman born in Medellín, Antioquia – Colombia, in 1974. He graduated in plastic arts from the Escuela Popular de Arte - E.P.A. – (currently I.T.M.) between 1996 and 2002. From the beginning his work has been figurative with a strong influence of expressionism and fauvism.
Since the late nineties he has been talking to us about a living, mobile, even chaotic city through the stimulus provided by the architecture, culture, daily life and life of each of its houses and streets, showing us how dynamic each of our cities can be.
Franco He inhabits his city knowing it, living it, suffering it and, above all, loving it.
His work has participated in several national and international exhibitions. He currently lives and works in his hometown: Medellín.
