Monhegan Island, a realm of awe-inspiring landscapes and panoramic views, becomes a poignant testament to this fascination. Dating back to the 1800s, artists have sought solace on this island, now predominantly under the guardianship of a private non-profit land trust that graciously opens its trails and vistas to global visitors. Positioned 10 miles away from the nearest coastal land, the island spans a modest one square mile, hosting an expansive network of 9 miles of hiking trails.
From the rugged, precipitous cliffs surveying the ocean to the tranquil, concealed nooks where wildlife congregates, the island unfolds as a boundless wellspring of inspiration. Aimone's goal is to encapsulate the island's distinctive allure, sharing its secrets to inspire a fresh outlook on the world for others.

David is an American photographer, stands at the intersection of artistic tradition and contemporary expression, weaving the ideals of pictorialists into the fabric of his work. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in both musical and artistic influences, David's creative journey burgeoned during his formative years as a member of the Ridgewood Camera Club.
Post-college, David delved into the realm of large-format film, marking the beginning of his self-taught exploration into the intricate world of photography. His approach, akin to an independent study master's degree, allowed him the freedom to experiment with various techniques and refine his distinctive style.
At the heart of David's photographic endeavors is a therapeutic exploration of imperfections, an intentional departure from mainstream ideals. Themes of ephemeral states, beauty, and imperfections permeate his work, inspired by the rebellious spirit of pictorialists who challenged the relentless pursuit of photographic perfection.
