Daniela Trandafir

I attended Nicolae Tonitza high school and Nicolae Grigorescu Art Institute, where I studied scenography and graphics. This led me to a certain versatility and need for experiencing different types of art. This was an opening towards new horizons and new ways of expressing whatever I felt and thought at a certain stage of my travel as an artist, in order to create either a meditation theme or an emotion and to discover how I should adjust my artistic message to adequate technical means. From here arose a new form of migration through ages and styles until I discovered the thin and permeable border between Imaginary and Real and secret bridges between those two. Thus I discovered a poetical, metaphorical and magical Universe full of multiple significations, meanings and symbols - a whole Universe full of surprises disguised behind the seemingly ordinary Reality. Likewise in theatre, the backstage plays pieces of reality on stage, that have enriched meanings and are recomposed with other more intense and universal significances.
