Symbolism
The abstract artwork depicts Sarah carry her cross( key of freedom) from her chains,the key is symbolic styled at the tip with an F like form depicting the first letter of " freedom" ..just like Sarah, man has awhole have that one thing or more that he needs to break from and be set free...it could be from alcoholism, difficulty,abuse,drugs,lack of success etc.
Sarah Baartman was not the only Khoikhoi to be taken from her homeland. Her story is sometimes used to illustrate social and political strains, and through this, some facts have been lost. Dr. Yvette Abrahams, professor of women and gender studies at the University of the Western Cape, writes, "we lack academic studies that view Sarah Baartman as anything other than a symbol. Her story becomes marginalized, as it is always used to illustrate some other topic." Baartman is used to represent African discrimination and suffering in the West although there were many other Khoikhoi people who were taken to Europe. Historian Neil Parsons writes of two Khoikhoi children 13 and six years old respectively, who were taken from South Africa and displayed at a holiday fair in Elberfeld, Prussia, in 1845.

Am Caddy, a traditional and digital artists, vast in creativity, I like my works unique and different from others out there, i believe art and I believe in my works too.
Am a self thought artist with vast interest in the field also been a teacher for creative arts spanning up to 2 years plus had also create more means for my impact and promotion for arts. Though I major in science as a degree, I had other professional certifications in graphics which I earned with a short program in the year 2014.
Been a tutor ,I have thought and mentor quite a number of students in both traditional art and graphic designs and am proud that I was been inspirational to a certain levels to them and I have alway look forward to creating more with art and hopefully my work will speak for me now and when am gone. I have great plan to establish a print media for customized merchandise products in the future which we serve as an opportunity for me to get more creatives employed and our quality designs cutting across the globe.
