Boris Katz (1964, Pskov, USSR), is a multidisciplinary artist mainly known for his ceramic sculptures. Mr. Katz holds a Master's degree in Arts, Ceramics and Glass from St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. Throughout his career he participated in numerus art exhibitions, including solo exhibitions, in Israel and worldwide. Among these is the Biennale of Israeli Ceramics. In 2007 Mr. Katz won the first prize at the International Biennale for Ocarinas in Perugia, Italy.
Mr Katz's artwork has been exhibited in various museums and galleries worldwide as well as in numerous private collections.
In his artwork Boris explores the human nature, focusing on our wishes, desires, fears, complexes and longings.
Boris Katz lives and works in Jerusalem.
